Auditors from the Supreme Audit Office (SAO) concluded that the 2008 statement of balances of Ministry of Agriculture was not a reliable source for the 2008 final account of the state budget chapter 329 – Ministry of Agriculture. From November 2008 to October 2009, auditors from the Supreme Audit Office (SAO) performed an audit of finances used for external consultancy services within the period from 2005 to 2008. Number of citizens’ submissions increased

By the end of October 2009, the Supreme Audit Office (SAO) has recorded 11 % more submissions (including requests for information, complains, and initiatives) from citizens and institutions than in the previous year. The increase makes 19 % compared with the same period in 2007.

NKÚ má více podnětů od veřejnosti

Ke konci října eviduje Nejvyšší kontrolní úřad (NKÚ) o 11 % více podání (žádostí, stížností, podnětů) občanů a institucí než v minulém roce. Ve srovnání se stejným obdobím roku 2007 je tento nárůst 19 %.

Presidents of supreme audit institutions (SAI) of the Visegrad Four member countries (the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, and the Slovak Republic) met with presidents of the Austria’s and Slovenia’s SAI at a regular meeting of the Visegrad 4+2 Group, which took place in Zakopane, Poland, on November 5 to 6, 2009.
